My name is Chris Rottschafer, owner of Four Seasons Lawn and Landscaping. After graduating from Davenport University, I spent 27 years in the family lumber business. In 2007, I founded Four Seasons Cottage and Home Services, initially providing property management services for long-distance homeowners. I started small, using just a mower and plow truck, focusing on the Holland area and the Macatawa Park Cottagers Association.
In 2011, I expanded into landscaping by acquiring a small company with two employees. By 2016, I took over contracts from a closing landscape business, hired additional staff, and opened a shop in Nunica, allowing us to serve both residential and commercial clients. Our service area now stretches from Saugatuck to Muskegon, with landscaping projects extending to Grand Rapids and Ada.
In 2017, I separated the concierge side of the business, rebranding it as Water Front Lifestyle Services, which I now run with my partner, Gary DeGraaf. This year, we rebranded Four Seasons Cottage and Home Services as Four Seasons Lawn and Landscaping to better reflect the range of services we offer. Today, with 10 employees and a fleet of trucks, plows, and mowers, we are dedicated to providing quality lawn care, snow removal and landscaping services across the region.
